In a lush valley surrounded by a ring of protective green hills just five kilometers outside South Africa’s Oyster Capital, Knysna; one can find the home of Royal Game Sport Horse Stud. Here our horses can enjoy both invigorating and refreshing mountain and sea breezes, while they enjoy each others company in our large grassy paddocks. The stud is run by people who are as besotted by horses in general as we are excited at every new arrival. Our dedication and love for our four-legged children ensures that they are happy and well adjusted… and hopefully rarely ever rude! Royal Game Sport Horse Stud has started to branch out from the conventional bay and chestnut shades and has started to add other exciting colours to the mix. Ginosko, by the imported Hanoverian stallion
Delgado, out of the full Warmblood mare Mossandi Ricasso
(Ramirez Furi/Anschluss/Graveur/Admiral).
Delgado sired such horses as Mossandi Diadem,
Mossandi Democrat and Mossandi Diplomat. Ramirez
Furi sired the likes of Mossandi Renaissance,
Mossandi Royce and the up and coming Mossandi Rhea.
Anschluss is the sire of the great
Maestro, whom Graham Winn performed so well with in
eventing.
Deo Ginosko will be available for live covering from November 2008, to a limited number of mares.
We also hope to see his first foals on the ground
towards the end of 2008.

Hi Hony. You are doing a fantastic job with your site well done. I would like to put my stud on your site please. I have Kinvara Stud. I breed the Irish Sport Horse. I have the imported stallion, Etherow Impasse. I have been breeding now for seven years and now the progeny are starting to win in all the disciplines. We are very excited for 2008 as we have a great competition team coming out. The stallion produces horses for all the disciplines and they are for all sorts of riders as the temperaments are great. CALLAHO Warmblood

The CALLAHO stud farm is situated
in the Kalahari, near Kimberley. The sweet veldt, vast areas
and calcium-rich soils render this region ideal horse breeding
country. The emphasis of the breeding objective is on
performance.
The stud utilizes the stallions FOR JOY, GRANULIT and WENCKSTERN, who all passed their performance tests in Germany at the very top of their class. They have gone on to excel in the showjumping and dressage sport at international level in Europe and South Africa. As proven progenitors of quality, temperament, movement and jump, their offspring are excelling at all levels and are globally acclaimed. Young stallions (particularly bred for either jumping or dressage) have been imported recently to support these established stud stallions. Frozen semen from pre-eminent German, Dutch and French sires vitalizes the gene pool. Our stallions are restricted to approximately 42 imported CALLAHO mares, all deriving directly from the finest bloodlines in Europe. Via their dam lines, most are immediately related to (or already have produced offspring which are) national, European and World Champions. All offspring are handled daily and raised on the farm to the age of 3 years, when they are backed and carefully produced for the Annual Auction in April. |

Kathu. (About 300km from Kimberley, or 200km for Upington) Our stallion is Rubin, an Imported son of the legendary Rubinstein. Rubin is 18hh and have the most fantastic temperament. Nicole Uphoff once said that Rubinstein is the most rideable horse in the world. That you can relate to Rubin and to most of his offspring. We have 15 broodmares out of the following lines: Davenport Wedekind, Wachman III, Sebastian, Land Earl, Attache and Larry DeLaBryre Last Step. We aim to breed sport horses with good temperaments and good movement. Currently the stud has a small variety of stock for sale. Franc-Swella Warmblood and Sport Horse stud is situated in Pretoria East. We are currently standing two stallions at stud nl Dynasty – He is a pitch black, 16.3hh Warmblood stallion out of the legendary Delgado (Hannoverian). Delgado was imported by the Mosters from the State Stud in Germany and has produced many top competition horses in SA. He jumped International A’s and also excelled in dressage. Some of his progeny are Mossandi Diadem ridden by Jonathan Clark and Mossandi Royce which is successful in eventing. He compliments and improves TB mares and breeds beautiful modern sport horses. His eldest progeny currently is rising 2 in Jan 2008. Our second stallion needs little introduction – Font The Last Lancer. He is the sire of many successful show jumpers and dressage horses including Font Lyndon and Lyndley (Jumped by Adel Jooste). He is however aging fast and is now at the ripe old age of 24.
