 Free Riding Music

We've heard judges say "rushing" for extended work, and "labored" for collection.  The corners are slower, the straight lines are faster. The jumping round is too fast, or the pirouettes can nearly be half the speed of the extension. How to measure the perfect tempo, including how to download free riding music.
Can you pass this balance test?

A look at the modern Olympian behind the scenes shows them working more and more on the ground and in the gym...but how does the average rider have the time? Here's a GREAT tip you can do adding no extra time to your day...and not an easy test to pass!

Only takes 2 mins to read this great tip from Dr. Mary Taylor, Wake Forest, NC...and it's free! See 60 secs to better balance >

Free eBook -
How to Improve Your Riding - better seat, posture & balance

From
the rider's feet to the rider's head, we've separated each part of the body with at least 10 of the most unbelievably easy tips to improve the rider.

Most of this eBook has been available for some time on the website, however now nearing completing it will soon be released commercially, and soon will not be available free any more!   So...start reading today - while it's still free!

Horse on the forehand?
Round shoulders might be the cause!

The major causes of the rider putting the horse on the forehand are hands too far forward putting the weight on the two front feet, looking down, dropping the chest, and a sure-fire way of putting the horse on the forehand: round shoulders!   And saying "get your shoulders back" either to your pupils, or to yourself just doesn't work - you go straight back to round shouldered in an instant...here's ideas that DO work!

New FEI Rules
Easier for Judges, riders & parents

Should the hands be high or low?
What happens if your heels are up? Are you allowed to lean forward or backward?  What is the FEI rule for your thumb?  The new FEI rules have made it so much easier for judges, riders, and especially "parents who help".

How to Improve Sitting Trot

From a slight wobbly leg to a career-ending bounce, sitting trot isn't easy for anyone, especially on the larger moving horses. Find out what goes wrong, and how the rider, coach or parent can fix it
Lessons or lectures at your club or barn
It may be easier than you think - especially if we are passing through your area.  It might even be possible to have a free lecture or demo.

***UPDATE - SPECIAL OFFER***
PONY CLUB MEMBERS ONLY
To encourage Pony Club riders to start correct principals early...young riders who are members of any USPC or similar unofficial pony club are offered a special one-off FREE LESSON with Colleen Kelly (normally worth $145) if they book a lesson with Jose Mendez before end February.
