WELLINGTON, Fla., Oct. 26--Frank
Rothenberger, a premier provider of
jumps to the Olympic Games and the
world's top horse shows, will be the
official supplier of jumps for the
2008 Holiday Series and the 2009
Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) at
the Palm Beach International
Equestrian Center.
Rothenberger will provide jumps for
the three primary PBIEC jumping
arenas -- the International,
DeNemethy and Mogavero arenas. The
rings also have Olympic quality
footing. Jumps for PBIEC's other
competition arenas will be supplied
by other providers.
WEF has always featured top quality
jumps and that tradition will be
maintained by using new designs and
features for PBIEC's main jumping
rings.
The first jumps will be in place for
the Holiday & Horses show Dec. 3-7
and complete sets for all three
arenas will be used for the 2009
Winter Equestrian Festival beginning
Jan. 7 and running for 12 weeks to
March 29.
The jumps will include a signature
PBIEC obstacle. Rothenberger
provided the globe design that was
first used at the 2006 WEG in Aachen
and has now become one of the most
recognizable jumps at the World
Equestrian Festival there.
In addition to being the official
jump provider, Rothenberger will be
the course designer for the Nations
Cup, the only one in the U.S., and
the $150,000 Grand Prix at WEF the
week of Feb. 25-Mar. 1.
The official course designers for
WEF are:
Week 1 Jan. 7-11: Anthony D'Ambrosio
(USA)
