SIBERIAN HUSKY RESCUE GAUTENG
We are a small group of Husky lovers, known as the Siberian Husky Rescue Gauteng – a non-profit organisation. We take in and re-home the homeless, abused and unwanted Siberian huskies, husky mixes and dogs of other Nordic breeds of the Gauteng area. We sometimes even help in areas such as Mpumalanga and Kwazulu Natal and on occasion re-home other breeds too. We usually have between 15 and 30 dogs in foster care. We are always in need of more foster homes, as more urgent cases come up – so please contact us, if you can give a husky a temporary home!
All our dogs are re-homed with their sterilization done, microchipped and with their vaccinations and deworming up to date. We ask for an adoption fee to cover these and other expenses. Sometimes the dogs we are taking in have been neglected or have been living on the streets for some time and suffer from illnesses like babesia and distemper, sometimes dogs are given up by their owners because they have broken a leg or a food allergy.
We mostly rely on private "members" - and the generosity of them and friends and colleagues. If you want to help us, we would very much appreciate a donation into out bank account:
