Palm Beach Steeplechase exclusive
VIP Players Club area.
Priced at $250, tickets include
valet parking, all-day gourmet
buffet, open bar and spectacular
viewing from the patio or second
floor of The Players Club located
beside the steeplechase course at
the Palm Beach International
Equestrian Center.
The gourmet buffet consists of four
stations of Asian, New England,
Italian and Caribbean delicacies,
featuring Sesame Crusted Chicken,
Tempura Shrimp, Stuffed Blue Crab,
New England Chowder, Coconut Crusted
Mahi Mahi and Stone Crab Claws.

The Palm Beach Steeplechase with
$200,000 in prize money for five
races over fences will be held at
PBIEC Stadium on the corner of South
Shore Boulevard and Pierson Road in
Wellington.
The event will feature a wine
festival and beer tent, gourmet
food, a highland pipe band, dove
release, live singing of the
National Anthem and Color Guard,
holiday shopping, Jack Russell
Terrier races, BlackWater Sky Divers
with a 1,000 sq. ft. flag, hat
contest, music, , running of the
hounds, Original Palm Beach
Steeplechase souvenirs and a
tailgate contest.
The first of more than 50 horses to
compete in the event began arriving
in Wellington Tuesday night.
Thousands of spectators, including
many from steeplechase strongholds
along the East Coast, are expected
for the event.
The opening ceremony is to begin at
12:45 p.m. and the first race is
scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

THE
FACILITY: The Palm Beach
International Equestrian Center is
home to the Winter Equestrian
Festival and the site of the first
outdoor Nations Cup held in the
United States. The competition areas
include the 360' x 280' all-weather
International Arena, the Bertalan
DeNemethy Arena, Mogavero Ring and
Grand Hunter Field in addition to
several other competition rings. The
competition and warm up rings have
all-weather footing. Amenities
include the International Club,
refreshment and shopping areas.

crossing over US 441. Travel five
miles to South Shore Blvd., turn
right on South Shore and proceed one
